A special afternoon for Cagliari coach Davide Nicola, who, after the afternoon training session, met with the rossobl\u00f9 fans at the historic headquarters of the Cagliari Club Coordination Center on Via Ariosto, in the heart of the city. This was a first for the coach, who had previously met many fans before Christmas at the CRAI Sport Center in Assemini and during other events organized in the city and throughout Sardinia. Nicola had the opportunity to visit historic memorabilia from the rossobl\u00f9 fanbase, accompanied by the president of the Coordination Center, Salvatore Saba, and other members, posing for photos and selfies as is customary. <\/p>\n\n

“Without the fans, football doesn’t make sense; we’ve seen this even more when, unfortunately, the stadiums were left empty. It’s an honor to be here today, it’s always wonderful to meet our people. Our job is to make you happy, we give our best every day for this,” said Nicola amid applause. <\/p>\n\n

With the coach, Nicola Riva, Board Member of Cagliari, on the eve of the first anniversary of Gigi’s passing. Also guests of the evening were the players of Cagliari Calcio a 5, the club’s new project developed since last summer. The athletes, who play in the top women’s league and are led by president Corrado Melis, had the chance to experience the Cagliari world in a special occasion outside the playing field.
