{"id":20459,"date":"2025-11-21T18:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-21T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cagliaricalcio.com\/news\/official-statement-2\/"},"modified":"2025-11-21T19:39:34","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T18:39:34","slug":"official-statement-2","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/cagliaricalcio.com\/en\/news\/official-statement-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Official statement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Cagliari Calcio announces strategic investment by U.S. group led by sardinian native Maurizio Fiori<br\/><\/strong><br\/>Cagliari Calcio is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement for the entry of an american-based investor group, led by sardinian native Maurizio Fiori of Praxis Capital Management into the Club\u2019s share capital.<\/p>\n\n<p>The transaction involves the acquisition of a qualified minority stake, marking a significant step in the Club\u2019s long-term growth strategy.<\/p>\n\n<p>The partnership is based on a shared long-term vision, focused on supporting the development of the new stadium project and driving the structural growth and strengthening of Cagliari Calcio.<\/p>\n\n<p>President Tommaso Giulini will retain full control and operational leadership of the Club, now joined by an international partner bringing valuable expertise and a global network to reinforce Cagliari\u2019s ongoing path of development and innovation.<\/p>\n\n<p>President Giulini commented:<br\/>\u201cWelcoming Maurizio and his investor group strengthens our future plans and affirms the global potential of our club. Their investment, experience, and respect for our traditions make them ideal partners as we build for generations to come.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>Maurizio Fiori added:<br\/>\u201cAs a sardinian who grew up attending every home game with my grandfather, I\u2019m honored to join Tommaso as a custodian of this cherished institution and help write the next page of its growth story.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>The agreement was signed today.
