Marco Palestra was honored at the FIGC Technical Center in Coverciano as the “Revelation Player of Serie A,” citing “his human and professional qualities, for a present and future in the national team.” The award was presented by the Italian Sports Press Union (USSI) and the Movimento Cristiano dei Lavoratori (Cristian Workers’ Movement), during a major event attended by many industry professionals, including athletes, coaches, and media representatives. The technical jury that voted was composed of journalists Marco Bellinazzo, Xavier Jacobelli, Carlo Laudisa, Sara Meini, Sandro Sabatini, Ciro Venerato, and Alessandro Sugoni. <\/p>\n\n

ONLY CAGLIARI ON OUR MIND“The focus is solely on Cagliari,” he explained to the media present at the event, “because the fans, staff, and teammates deserve it. For the future, we’ll see what the best decision is. I owe so much to Coach Pisacane and the teammates I’ve met on this adventure. Cagliari and Sardinia have changed my life and career with so many positive aspects on and off the pitch, so many friendships and connections, a fundamental step for me. I think I still have a lot to improve in all technical aspects, but here I’ve gained important knowledge for the future and built something solid that I’ll always carry with me,” Palestra continued in the mixed zone. “The road is still long. I started playing professionally two years ago and I have a lot to develop. Now I’m only focused on Cagliari and staying up, the most important thing. The rumors about me are nice, but I don’t follow them too much.” <\/p>\n\n

TOWARDS ATALANTA“I have many friends there, it’s the environment where I grew up. We’re coming off a good performance, even if it didn’t go well in terms of the result, and we’re already thinking about next Monday to get some crucial points. ITALY OUT OF THE WORLD CUP“It \u200b\u200bwas a tough blow, but we need to get back on track. We have a great team, and I noticed that right away. I’m convinced that with time and hard work, we’ll all get back on our feet together.
