The usual jubilation in the stands for a day that starts very early and ends at sunset, with over three thousand people packing the Unipol Domus, including athletes, families, and coaches. Over 700 players from the world of the Cagliari Football Academy, hailing from all over Sardinia, will be livening up the 2026 edition of the Energit Tournament, the key event that closes the Rossoblu Academy’s season. This project, launched in 2014, has grown steadily and exponentially each year in both numbers and quality, becoming a benchmark for Sardinian football and beyond. It is a testament to Cagliari Calcio’s work across the island, seeking out talented individuals to develop for the future, and developing individuals through one of the most powerful driving forces of all: sport, and football in particular. <\/p>\n\n
The tournament, held for the third consecutive time at the Rossoblu stadium, featured the 40 Academy-affiliated clubs on Sunday, May 3rd. These key clubs in Sardinia are supported daily by Cagliari Calcio to work together on methodologies and philosophy, not just football-related. The goal is to grow together, identify and nurture talent with a view to joining the Rossoblu, but also\u2014and above all\u2014to foster the healthy social and moral development of communities and individuals. <\/p>\n\n
