The Cagliari goalkeeper took stock of the first days of work, analyzed the rossobl\u00f9 moment in view of the new season and spoke on a personal level about objectives, impressions and horizons. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CAGLIARI ON TOP<\/strong><br\/>&#8220;I deserved the opportunity on the pitch to represent this team today and I feel an important responsibility, which makes me proud. Cagliari is a historic club and representing it is an honor. As for the transfer market, I honestly only think about Cagliari. The agents will take care of the rest: today there is nothing and my mind is exclusively focused on doing the best possible here and achieving salvation with this shirt.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A LEADER OFF THE FIELD ALSO<br\/><\/strong>&#8220;One of my main characteristics has always been my personality. I also have to learn to manage it, because we are a group of thirty players plus the staff and you always have to understand how to relate to whoever is in front of you. I want to be a leader on and off the pitch. I listen a lot to Mister Pisacane, who has experience, as well as the goalkeeper coach, who has had a great career and continues to give me valuable advice. I believe that Pisacane has earned great trust on the pitch and today he is also able to enter more with his legs straight with us when needed. In a year we have built a very good relationship. He is a young coach, he has given me a lot of responsibility, even giving me the captaincy. He has made it clear how much he cares about me and how much faith he has in my qualities.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HOW TO RAISE THE BAR<\/strong><br\/>&#8220;We are on a path and we only grow by working with intensity every day. Our first objective remains to reach safety as soon as possible. The 43 points achieved last year were not to be taken for granted at all. First let&#8217;s secure the category, then we will try to get a lot of satisfaction.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PERSONAL GROWTH<\/strong><br\/>&#8220;I&#8217;m 25 years old and I feel like I still have a lot to learn, both on and off the field. I know that many teammates observe me and that many people see themselves in me, also for the sense of belonging that I try to convey. I&#8217;m proud of this, but I&#8217;m aware that you never stop learning. I want to continue to broaden my horizons and improve in every aspect.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>THE BLUE DREAM<\/strong><br\/>&#8220;The national team is every child&#8217;s dream and I was lucky enough to make it come true. Now I don&#8217;t want to miss this opportunity. However, I know that everything depends on what I do with Cagliari: if I manage to do well here, I will also have the chance to be called up again.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>THE EVOLUTION OF THE GOALKEEPER&#8217;S ROLE<\/strong><br\/>&#8220;In recent years the role has changed a lot. When I started the goalkeeper was asked above all to save, but today you have to actively participate in the construction of the game. Just look at what Spain has done in recent years and at the World Cup: the goalkeeper is now an integral part of the maneuver.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>THE NEW ARRIVALS AND THE SPIRIT OF THE GROUP<br\/><\/strong>&#8220;The new arrivals made an excellent impression on me. Some I already knew, others I am discovering day after day. We have conveyed a simple concept to everyone: Cagliari comes before self. The rest comes only with daily work. We more experienced people will do everything to help them feel at home and integrate as soon as possible. Esposito? Seba is one of the leaders of the team and at the moment he is only thinking about training with Cagliari. He works well every day and knows perfectly what it means to represent these colours. We are at the by his side, he helps us and we help him: this is the meaning of a united group.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>THE DADDY EXPERIENCE<\/strong><br\/>&#8220;Becoming a father is the best thing that can happen in life. It&#8217;s an enormous responsibility and, in some ways, there are also points of contact with football.
