At the end of the match against Arezzo, the young defender, born in 2005, spoke to the media. Here are his words: <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ABOUT THE MATCH<\/strong><br\/>\u201cIt was a tough game, we knew it would be like that: it was our first competitive match. The heat on the pitch was noticeable and fatigue set in. But that\u2019s understandable at this stage of the season. We made a good start to the match, we put in a solid performance and we\u2019ll improve. Making my debut in this shirt in front of our fans was a special emotion: we got the win, so it was a perfect evening.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A FANTASTIC GROUP<\/strong><br\/>\u201cI felt very comfortable playing alongside Juan in defence, as I have with all my teammates. From the very beginning, they made me feel part of this fantastic group, and I\u2019m very happy about that too. I\u2019m excited for this season; there\u2019s a lot of enthusiasm within the team, starting with me, as this will be my first year in Serie A. There\u2019s a great desire to do well. The Mister instils that in us, and we follow him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>THE DESIRE TO IMPROVE<\/strong><br\/>\u201cMy objectives for this season? I\u2019ve made the step up from Serie B to Serie A, so the goal will be to work hard and improve every day. I have teammates around me with a lot of experience and many Serie A games under their belts. I\u2019ll have to learn from everyone and make sure I\u2019m ready whenever the Mister calls on me. I want and need to improve in every aspect: that\u2019s also why I chose to come here. It\u2019s the perfect environment for young players to develop in the best possible way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>THE RIGHT SPIRIT<\/strong><br\/>\u201cI\u2019ve gone from the mountains to the sea, and I\u2019m really enjoying it here. I used to come to Sardinia on holiday; now I\u2019ll be working here, and it\u2019s a beautiful place. Overall, I can say that everything is in place here to have a great season. The feelings are very positive, and we\u2019ve made a good start. Now we\u2019ll take a little break, then we\u2019ll start preparing properly for our first league game. We\u2019re motivated and positive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WHY CAGLIARI<\/strong><br\/>\u201cMister Bisoli gave me my Serie B debut three and a half years ago. He gave me the opportunity to play and develop, so if I\u2019m here today, it\u2019s also thanks to him. I\u2019m grateful to have this opportunity. I\u2019m very proud to have become a Cagliari player. When I found out there was a possibility of coming here, I didn\u2019t think twice. I also spoke to some former teammates, such as Luca Ceppitelli, and he spoke very highly of everything here.
