A SPECIAL WEEK, THINKING OF YAEL TREPY<\/strong>\u00abIt hasn’t been an easy week, we’ve been through terrible moments. Luckily Yael’s awakening was the best news we could have received. We never stopped hoping. He showed us that the most important game is that of life. What I said to Yael I keep inside my heart. Entering an intensive care unit took me back 27 years. I wish him a better career than mine and to get back on the path, as happened to me. I analyzed the matches and prepared Parma as if the boy were with us. We wait for it, even if we know it will take a lot of patience. This week Yael was the factor that made me focus on the most important thing in everyday life.”<\/p>\n\n

THE ATTACK CHOICE<\/strong>“Mendy has recovered from his adductor strain, Borrelli is fine, and so is Kingstone. It’s a tough choice up front; we’ll evaluate everything, but for now, Mendy has an advantage over the other two.”<\/p>\n\n

MINA AND KEVIN CARLOS<\/strong>“Yerry has been training non-stop for two weeks. We know he’s a player who knows everyone very well. He can also be in the game; we know his value, and we’ll evaluate whether he’ll start or not. Kevin Carlos has played a good amount of time in training, but I can already tell you he won’t start. However, his condition is improving and he’ll be available.”<\/p>\n\n

FADERA AND THE WINNERS<\/strong>“Fadera can play on either wing, but I see him better with an inverted foot. He’s a player we’ve known and been following since last year. The club is doing everything they can to see if there are opportunities to complete the squad. He’s a player who attacks the depth and is a great wide defender. He could be a good solution to cause problems for opponents. He could be available, but it will depend on whether the bureaucratic process is completed or not.”<\/p>\n\n

TACTICAL SOLUTIONS<\/strong>“I’m obviously disappointed that Trepy won’t be there tomorrow, because he would have been a starter, especially given his good preseason. Maldini can replace him, as can Fazzini, but I’ll see about that tomorrow, also based on how he feels a few hours before the start.”<\/p>\n\n

THE OPPONENT<\/strong>“They’re an organized, intense, and physical team. They’ve sold some key players, like last year, and I congratulate them on their planning. The first matchday brings excitement, tension, and responsibility, but we can’t get too carried away. The result of a match doesn’t determine the absolute strengths of the two teams or what they can achieve down the road. But the serious stuff is definitely starting to happen, and we want to be ready.”<\/p>\n\n

THE FEELINGS OF THE DEBUT<\/strong>“From tomorrow, the answers that matter will begin to arrive. We’ve worked hard and tried to build a team with courage and personality. Now we have to transfer all of this onto the pitch. I don’t want to defend the past; I want to build Cagliari’s future. And the future, as far as the league is concerned, begins with Parma.”<\/p>\n\n
