Rossoblu winger Tommaso Augello spoke to the media after the draw against Como at Unipol Domus.
ONE HALF TIME FOR EACH
“We played a great first half: high pressure, intensity, some good counterattacks and good exchanges, like the one that led to our goal. In the second half we dropped physically, we dropped back, leaving the initiative to them. Como did better than us, managing the ball better and thus deserved the draw. It’s a shame, we have to learn to manage the entire match like we did in the first half, always keeping the intensity high”.
WORKING TO IMPROVE
“Compared to last season we are playing a different kind of football, it is a new path. We are still in a running-in phase, but we have done a good preparation, we will grow. I am happy: we want to play a proactive game, we push a lot on the outside. It is stimulating, I feel good both physically and mentally. I am trying to put into practice the instructions of the Coach to continue to grow and improve”.
MATCH IN LECCE
“Both against Roma and today in the first half we showed what mister Nicola wants from us. Especially from an advantageous situation, however, we must not make the mistake of lowering ourselves, always remaining determined and aggressive throughout the 90 minutes. This obviously starting from Lecce: on Saturday we will need a great performance to take full points”.
