Cagliari Calcio spent an afternoon full of fun, fair play, culture, and passion for the rossoblù colors. The protagonists were footballers Antoine Makoumbou and Michel Ndary Adopo, who at the Doppio Malto venue kicked off a foosball tournament that will take place over the next few months, traveling across various island restaurants of the rossoblù club’s partner. Various experiences and Cagliari-branded prizes are up for grabs.
The two midfielders played foosball with many fans of all ages, taking photos and selfies with them, as well as signing autographs. It was a great moment of sharing at the home of Cagliari Calcio’s Back Jersey Sponsor, part of the many initiatives the club organizes with its partners and fans across Sardinia.
The Island tour then continued in Macomer, hosted by the local municipality on the occasion of “Sardegna Alternativa,” the 22nd Regional Exhibition of Books Published in Sardinia, taking place from November 13 to 17, 2024, in Macomer. During the event, the new local Cagliari Club was also inaugurated, providing an opportunity to experience everything related to the team from every angle.
“It’s always nice to meet our people,” said Makoumbou and Adopo in unison. “Wherever we go, it’s a wave of love for Cagliari, and this gives us a lot of strength. It’s nice to feel this affection even far from our city, an emblem of how Cagliari is truly the team of Sardinia and unites an entire people.”
