Note on the New Stadium

Joint statement from Cagliari Calcio and the Municipality of Cagliari regarding the new stadium in Cagliari.


Today, the first session of the Environmental Impact Assessment (VIA) Conference was held regarding the new Cagliari Stadium in Sant’Elia. During the meeting, all aspects related to the more than one thousand technical documents of the project were reviewed. The conference concluded with the decision that the Region will send the meeting minutes to the Municipality, containing the list of observations. Both the Administration and Cagliari Calcio, as the project proponents, hope that the minutes will be transmitted as soon as possible. However, the technicians from both parties are already at work to produce the required clarifications and to expedite the process as much as possible.
