Pisacane: “Right performance, focus on Fiorentina”
This is what Fabio Pisacane said after his Primavera team’s defeat away to Juventus. Cagliari lost 1-0 with a last-minute goal, and here’s the analysis from the Rossoblù coach.

“Our mentality is to go into every match with enthusiasm, trying to dominate the game as much as possible, just as we did today for large parts of the match. It’s a shame because, once again, we weren’t able to capitalize on the chances we created, but as I told the players at the end of the game, I’d be more worried if we weren’t creating these goal-scoring opportunities. We prepared for the match by focusing on not allowing Juventus to control the game, but instead pressing them from the start, playing openly and not waiting for the opponent. In fact,” Pisacane continues, “some of the threats we faced came from direct attacks involving the goalkeeper or individual bursts from players during counterattacks, following the winning of some duels. So,” he concludes, “we’re disappointed because after a game like this, coming home with zero points really frustrates us, and that frustration will be the same energy we’ll use to face Fiorentina on Monday in Assemini.”
