At the end of the match, the scorers of the two rossoblù goals, Michel Adopo and Yael Trepy – who was awarded man of the match – spoke about their emotions to Dazn’s microphones.
TREPY’S WORDS
“It was a dream evening. I’d always hoped to have a debut like this. I always believed in it, I believed, and we believed, that we could get back on track. It was a crucial point, and we wanted it: it was great to celebrate with my teammates, with the fans. What do I feel? So much emotion, it’s a crucial point towards our goal. It’s a joy for our people, for the Sardinians: everyone knows how much I care about this jersey, these people I’ve known for years. It’s an advantage to have Mr. Pisacane as my coach: he knows me well, I grew up with him, he gives me so much advice, and I thank him.”
ADOPO’S WORDS
“At halftime, we told ourselves we could turn it around, we could do better, we went out on the pitch with a different spirit, and we did it. Any advice for Trepy? He scored a beautiful and important goal, but it’s only his first; he needs to keep going and work hard.”
