Cagliari and Lazio played out a goalless draw at the Unipol Domus, after a match in which the Rossoblu came close to scoring three times in the first half. In the second half, Yerry Mina was sent off for a second yellow card, and Lazio’s attacks continued, leaving them with a point each.

Pisacane chooses Mazzitelli with Adopo and Sulemana, while Esposito will start up front with Palestra and Kilicsoy. In defense, ahead of Caprile, Zé Pedro, Dossena, Mina, and Obert will be the two.

In the 14th minute, Zé Pedro’s header hit the post; in the 24th, Adopo headed wide after a clever move; and in the 25th, Mina earned his first yellow card for bringing down Maldini. In the 36th minute, Esposito fired wide with his right foot following a low cross from the right. Cagliari dominated the game; in the 41st minute, Mazzitelli was forced off with a calf injury, prompting Idrissi to come on. Pellegrini was also booked at the end, beaten once again by Palestra in a duel.

The second half was certainly less exciting. In the 52nd minute, Dossena sent the ball over, then in the 54th Caprile dived and blocked Taylor’s shot. Then in the 56th minute, Zé Pedro was booked, and in the 64th, it was Provstgaard’s turn. Palestra’s goal was disallowed in the 68th minute for offside, and in the 85th minute, Mina was sent off for bringing down Noslin on the edge of the box. Caprile saved Cataldi’s free kick, and it was the last thrill of the match.
