THE CHOICE OF CAGLIARI AND THE PROJECT
“I chose Cagliari because they wanted me badly. There was a concrete interest in me and this is fundamental for a footballer. I had already spoken with director Accardi and with Mister Pisacane, who had explained the project to me, and I immediately felt at the center of the technical idea. I’m sure I made the right choice, I’m happy with these first days as a Cagliari player and I can’t wait for the championship to start.”

“I can play in any midfield position. My favorite position is as a central midfielder, both on the right and left, but I also like playing closer to the goal. I’ve already discussed this with the coach, and depending on the match, I’ll be able to play different roles. In recent years, I’ve also improved defensively, and I want to put all my skills to work for the team.”

“We’re working to be aggressive in possession, but also clinical in front of goal. The coach demands quality ball handling, without sterile possession, and at the same time great availability when not in possession. We must be ready to press and win the ball back when needed: this is the direction we’re taking. I consider myself a modern midfielder. I believe I can bring quality, freshness, and substance. In recent years, I’ve also improved a lot defensively, and I want to put these qualities to work for the team.”

“I’ve always placed importance on studying. After high school, I enrolled at the online university, in the Faculty of Sports Science, and graduated last year after completing a three-year program.
