“We are certainly in line with what is the moment of the season, that is, the first weeks of work. We have increased the amount of kilometers traveled at this point of preparation, compared to a year ago, we work based on last season’s data, exploring new ideas and methodologies with the aim of improving and increasing athletic capacity during the year and general condition. For this reason, having heavy legs today is more than normal. Today we often made the wrong choice or last step, at which point you suffer. We worked well with the defensive line, suffering mainly on transitions. When you win the ball back you have to be more clear, but being a little tired we are losing something from that point of view at that moment of the season. From an athletic point of view we are pushing a lot and this can be seen. We are also further ahead in the physical work already done and, in this phase of preparation, it is absolutely necessary normal.”

“The midfield is the area where we’ve changed the most. It’s the area of the pitch that connects our game, and that’s where most of the work is concentrated.
