Cagliari Calcio is pleased to announce the addition of Francesco Pisano and Robert Acquafresca to the Youth Sector’s technical staff as technical assistants, with a specific focus on the individual development of the young *Rossoblù* players.
Pisano (born in ’86, former defender, a product of Cagliari’s youth academy, with 247 total appearances and 1 goal in Serie A from 2004 to 2015, and previously a coach in the Youth Sector in recent seasons) and Acquafresca (born in ’87, former forward, 110 appearances and 35 goals for the Rossoblù between 2007 and 2009) will work to support the coaching staffs of the Under-15, Under-16, Under-17, and Under-18 teams, as part of the teams’ daily activities and in coordination with the coaches and trainers of the respective groups. Pisano will focus specifically on aspects related to individual technique and tactics, as well as on refining the specific movements of individual defenders. Acquafresca, on the other hand, will focus on individual technical and tactical aspects related to the offensive phase.
They will work as usual in coordination with the Youth Sector structure, led by director Max Canzi, sporting director Pierluigi Carta and technical coordinator Oscar Erriu, with the aim of integrating and refining the work of the teams and the growth path of the rossoblù players.
