Primavera, the review of Pisacane

Youth Sector - 20 May 2024

The Primavera rossoblù ended their championship in seventh place, just one point away from a playoff position that would have fully rewarded the work of the group and the technical staff led by coach Fabio Pisacane, representing the icing on the cake of a journey that began in July 2023 and that has laid solid foundations for the future.

From the debut of many under-age boys compared to the category to the concretisation of the Club’s philosophy on the Youth Sector, which looks at the territory with eyes also in the national and international context, bringing together and coordinating the impulses of strategic areas such as Scouting, Youth Sector, Base Activity and Academy.

LAST MATCH
At the home of Hellas Verona, at the end of a vibrant match full of twists and turns, a 5-3 victory, with Bolzan, Ardau (first goal with the Primavera team) and Conti making things clear in little more than half an hour. Vinciguerra made it four, Agbonifo (penalty) and Cissé shortened, but captain Idrissi closed the contest definitively, before Vermesan fixed the score.

THE REVIEW OF FABIO PISACANE
‘We close with another very valid and probing test, a real match that serves us well for our journey on a collective and individual level. Net of absences (Simonetta, Trepy, Konate, Achour, Malfitano and Cogoni with the Under-18 team in Sassuolo, winning and continuing the playoff run, ed) Cagliari offered a solid performance, which showed how the principles and ideas on which we have been working for almost a year have been assimilated by the boys. It has been a very intense season, which has seen – in addition to improvements in the collective – the growth of every single player and this makes me very proud. First of all because, as I have said many times, the boys have never stopped putting in the effort and fighting in every single training session and game. We close with a smile, aware that what we have achieved represents what we deserved on the field, and is the result of a path of growth that has involved as many as 36 players, most recently today’s debut for Tronci. I would like to thank the guys one by one, and then every single member of my staff for the seriousness, professionalism, and energy put in from the first to the last day.’
