EYE Sport and Cagliari Calcio celebrate together the glorious 1969/70 season with the creation of a special jersey, strongly inspired by the iconic one worn by the legendary team that won the Italian championship on 12 April 1970, exactly 54 years ago today. As usual, the club is celebrating the most important anniversary in its history, together with that of its birth, and this time it is embellishing it by renewing the tradition of the ‘Scudetto style’ jerseys already explored in the recent past, adding more details and making its manufacture very close to the original jersey used at the time.
THE JERSEY
Like the original, it is made of 100% acrylic fabric. White colour with red-blue details. V-neck collar with navy blue ties. On the inside of the collar is the fabric label with the EYE logo embroidered in gold thread and the words ‘Cagliari Calcio Prodotto ufficiale’. Embellished with the 4 Mori logo embroidered in felt on the heart side. The armhole has a red-blue piping. On the bottom right edge there is a label embroidered in gold lurex thread with the words ‘Campioni d’Italia 1969-1970’.
DEDICATED PACKAGING
The jersey is contained in a special box dedicated to the 1969/70 Italian Champions, inside which there is also one of the most significant photos of that feat. Wrapping the product is tissue paper bearing the names of the players who made up the squad, then the members of the technical staff and management.
WHERE TO FIND IT
The official product will be available for purchase in the EYE Sport and Cagliari Calcio online stores from today, and in physical stores from tomorrow Saturday, 13 April, in Junior and Kid sizes (with a reduced price of €55, dedicated to the youngest children and the new generation of red-blue fans) and Medium and Senior sizes (€95).
