Cagliari take on Rayo Vallecano in Madrid

An international friendly awaits Cagliari under the guidance of head coach Fabio Pisacane. During the international break, the Rossoblù will travel to Spain, to Madrid, to take part in the 10th edition of the “Trofeo de Vallecas” against Rayo Vallecano.

The match will be played on Saturday 3 October at 2pm at the “Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas”. Tickets for the game will be available to purchase at the stadium’s central ticket office from this afternoon. Sales will continue on Thursday and Friday from 11am to 8pm, and on Saturday from 11am until kick-off. Online ticket sales will not be available.

Founded in 1924 and based in the Vallecas district in south-eastern Madrid, Rayo Vallecano are one of Spanish football’s historic clubs, with a strong sense of identity. The team currently play in La Liga and are coached by Basque manager Beñat San José. Last season, they reached the UEFA Conference League final. In their history, they have reached the Copa del Rey semi-finals twice.
