Cagliari will play in the Frecciarossa Italian Cup on August 14th.

The Lega Serie A has formalized the dates and times of the round of 32 of the 2026/27 Frecciarossa Italian Cup.

The rossoblù will face the winning team between Arezzo and Union Brescia on Friday 14 August at 6.30 pm (live Mediaset on Italia 1) at the Unipol Domus, who will compete on 9 August in the preliminary round.

The draw has been defined, with Cagliari drawn in the quadrant of Roma and Juventus, seeded number 3 and number 6 respectively and who will enter like the other seeds from the round of 16. In the event of progressing to the round on 14 August, therefore, Cagliari will face Hellas Verona or Virtus Entella in the round of 32 (on 2 or 15 September). Followed by the possible meeting against Roma in the round of 16 (2 December, 16 December or 13 January 2027). Sassuolo-Cesena and Frosinone-Juve Stabia ‘match that will determine the teams that will get to play the round of 16 match against Juventus.
