Giulini meets Cagliari Women’s Futsal Team

It was a special afternoon for the girls and coaching staff of Cagliari Women’s Futsal, who, on the eve of the second leg of the Scudetto playoff quarter-finals (Saturday at 7 pm in Salandra against CMB), received a visit from Rossoblù president Tommaso Giulini, first team striker Sebastiano Esposito, and Costanza Musso, CEO of Main Partner Gruppo Grendi, at the end of training at the PalaConi in Cagliari.

“You’re doing something great,” Giulini told the group. “Reaching the playoffs for the second consecutive year means adding further value to a project born two years ago, one in which the Club, together with the president of Mediterranea Calcio a Futsal, Corrado Melis, strongly believed in to further their commitment to women’s sports. Every day, in every official match and in training, you have shown character, passion, dedication, and quality of work—the right spirit to face the next challenge.”

Esposito also expressed great support: “Futsal is a sport I’ve always appreciated and enjoy watching because it involves so much technique. Watching the training session today was both entertaining and interesting. I wasn’t familiar with your team before coming to Sardinia, and I have to say that we have all the ingredients to continue improving. Good luck for Saturday’s match and for the future.”
