Idrissi on loan to Modena
Cagliari Calcio announces the transfer of the right to the sports performance of Riyad Idrissi, who transfers to Modena with an onerous loan until June 30, 2025 with the right of redemption and counter-redemption in favor of the Club. Simultaneously renewed his contract until 2027 with an option to renew for two more seasons.
The left back, class of 2005, grew up in the Rossoblù youth sector after landing there via the Academy, becoming a key player and vice captain of Fabio Pisacane’s Primavera team. He is coming off two standout seasons in which he made 62 appearances topped by 4 goals and 7 assists. On Jan. 17, 2024, he made his debut with the Italian Under-19 national team against Spain’s peers; on Feb. 14, in the 3-0 win over Austria, he also made his first assist in the Azzurri.
It is time for his first experience in the professional ranks, which will allow him to grow and gain experience starting in Serie B.
