Luperto to Cremonese

Cagliari Calcio announces the transfer of Sebastiano Luperto, who is moving permanently to US Cremonese.

The central defender made his debut for Cagliari in the Coppa Italia on August 12, 2024, in a 3-1 victory against Carrarese, providing an assist. On January 19, 2025, he scored his first goal for Cagliari in a 4-1 victory against Lecce at the Unipol Domus. One of the most frequently used players in the squad, he played a crucial role in securing survival. He has appeared in 19 matches in the first half of the season, scoring in his first league match, the final goal in the home draw (1-1) against Fiorentina.

An example of dedication to the cause and a positive personality within the group, he leaves Cagliari after making 58 appearances.
