
Cagliari Calcio is pleased to announce the acquisition of the right to the sporting performances of the footballer Yanis Massolin, who moves to the rossoblù from Inter on loan until the end of the 2026/27 football season with right of redemption and counter-ransom.
Born in Moulins, France, born in 2002, Massolin began his career at Moulins Yzeure and then moved to Clermont Foot, in Ligue 1: on 23 October 2022, at just twenty years old, he made his debut in the French top division, at home against Brest.
In the summer of 2023 the move to the Belgian Francs Borains. Here he continued his growth path, increasingly highlighting his qualities: in two seasons 43 games and 5 goals. Hence the transfer to Italy, to the ranks of Modena: last season he scored 30 games with 3 goals, enriched by the same number of assists, establishing himself among the most interesting young players in the cadet championship. Purchased from Inter, he played the initial phase of the new season with the Nerazzurri.
Physically structured, 197 centimeters tall, despite his size Massolin is gifted with agility and dynamism. Excellent technique and dribbling ability, he is a flexible footballer who can be used both as an attacking midfielder and as a midfielder, taking advantage of his ability to enter and progress with the ball at his feet.
