Medical Report | Surgery for Deiola

Following discomfort in his left knee, Alessandro Deiola underwent medical examinations and diagnostic tests which revealed an injury to the lateral meniscus, making surgery necessary. Today, the player underwent a selective arthroscopic lateral meniscectomy. The procedure, performed by Prof. Massimiliano Salvi at the “San Francesco” Hospital in Nuoro, was completed successfully.

After a few days of rest, the player will begin his scheduled rehabilitation programme.
