Pisacane: ‘Disappointed with the result’

Primavera coach Fabio Pisacane analyses the 2-2 draw in Sassuolo.

“We are disappointed for the result,” explained the coach, “we were lacking in one respect: the concretisation and finalisation of the amount of play produced, and this displeases me and the boys, because it means reaping the fruits of our weekly work.

The attitude, however, was optimal: “I liked both the approach to the match and once we went into a disadvantage before the break, which is always a very delicate moment,” he continued, “we always tried to keep the ball of the game in our hands, putting ideas, courage and personality into the match. I believe that even today an important brick was put in place for our growth, as individuals and as a collective. There is regret because with a little more attention we could have taken the entire stake, in a very difficult match, with an opponent of quality and great athletic content, against which, given the trend, we could have won but also lost. Now we’ll rest for two days and then we’ll prepare for the home match against Lazio.
