Michel Ndary Adopo’s analysis after the Rossoblu lost 1-0 at home to AC Milan thanks to a goal from Rafael Leao.
REGRET AFTER A GOOD PERFORMANCE
“It’s disappointing to lose. We certainly gave it our all, but Milan prevailed in the second half after an undoubtedly positive first half. My role? Today I played a little further up front. The coach asked certain things of me, and I felt comfortable. We dropped off a bit in the second half, which is a shame because we had shown we could compete on equal terms. The missed goal? I haven’t seen the play yet; perhaps I could have controlled it. I tried to head it in, but I wasn’t able to get the power and the angle. It’s a shame.”
FLEXIBILITY AND AVAILABILITY
“We all have to contribute our own skills. Personally, I don’t mind changing positions if necessary. The coach is in charge, and what matters are his instructions and the opponent you’re facing, against whom you have to be ready. For me, playing as a midfielder or moving forward closer to the attacker isn’t a problem. It hurts to lose narrowly today after having had some chances. Let’s focus on Cremona, where we’ll have to battle to get the points. In football, the details make the difference, and today we saw that. We’re returning to the pitch with the desire to improve.”
