Gianluca Gaetano is the MVP of Cagliari-Lecce, alongside Sebastiano Luperto, who scored the 2-1 and netted his first goal for the club.
Gaetano said: “This goal was important for me. After the great six months of last season, this one has been a bit more challenging for me so far, but I’m happy to have scored again and to contribute to the team’s victory. We’re all happy, but we keep working.”
Luperto’s words: “It seemed like a game similar to the one against Venezia, but between the first and second halves, we changed our attitude and in the end, we managed to play a great second half, which resulted in an important win. Finally, the goal also came for me. It was crucial to win such a direct clash, and doing it at home in front of our fans makes it even more valuable.
