POST MATCH | Romano (MVP) e Fazzini from the pitch

These are the words of Alessandro Romano, named man of the match, and Jacopo Fazzini, after Cagliari’s 1-0 victory at Parma.

“Scoring a goal and taking three points is definitely something special,” Romano commented. “We have a strong and capable group in every way, and it was evident on the pitch tonight as well, but I’d say every day during preseason. This is the spirit we need to continue with, and starting well helps.”

“We have certainly experienced a difficult week – explains Fazzini – given what happened to Yael. Today we wanted to play a great match, also for him, who we felt before the match and who gave us a great contribution in terms of closeness and encouragement. We suffered together, worked as a group, and the victory repays us a lot. It is certainly an important season for me to relaunch myself, I chose Cagliari also for this reason, because I think it is the right place where we can all get satisfaction, together as a healthy and true group”.
