PRESS ROOM | Kofler analyzes the match

Rossoblu defender Raphael Kofler spoke after the 2-1 win against Lazio at the Olimpico: his analysis of the match, the attacking options on the left flank, and the incident that led to the Biancocelesti’s decisive goal. “We have to keep our heads up and keep working,” said the young central defender, who has demonstrated reliability despite his debut in Serie A.

THE PERFORMANCE AGAINST LAZIO
«We knew we were facing one of the league’s most in-form teams. We had to come here with the right spirit, and I think we managed to do that for long stretches of the match. Lazio has a lot of quality and created chances to win, but we’re disappointed we weren’t able to take home any points. We fought and held our own against a worthy opponent, but now we have to look ahead.».

THE OFFENSIVE PHASE AND THE LEFT WING
«On the left flank, we try to attack persistently, obviously, because we have several players who can create dangerous situations on that side. We always try to implement what the coach asks of us and develop the game in the best possible way. Both today against Lazio and in the match against Roma, we managed to create chances, but we know we can and must improve, trying to be even more effective in the final meters.».

THE EPISODE OF LAZIO’S SECOND GOAL
«Referee Colombo explained to us that it was a foul and that we should have put the ball out. I don’t know the rules in detail and I don’t want to dwell on the incident. Now we have to focus only on ourselves: we’ll return to Cagliari, work hard, and try to get back on our feet immediately.».
