A thrilling and dramatic match in Milan, where Inter defeated Cagliari Under-20 4-3 after an intense and closely contested match right down to the final minute. The Rossoblu, with the addition of Cavuoti from the first team to gain playing time, put in a courageous and at times brilliant performance, but were penalized by a difficult start to the second half and some key incidents.

Inter attempted to gain control early, but Cagliari struck first in the 16th minute: Sulev’s long-range shot hit the post, and Trepy was quickest to tap in the rebound to make it 0-1. The home side responded and equalized in the 28th minute through Moressa, who controlled the ball well and beat Kehayov on the rebound at the far post. Cagliari remained unfazed and continued to strike on the counterattack: in the 43rd minute, a perfect counterattack was finished off again by Trepy, who scored his second goal and put the Sardinians back in front at halftime.
