Cagliari’s Primavera team was defeated 3-0 in their away match against Lecce, with the setback occurring in the first half. The Rossoblù were unable to recover and turn the game around.

After an encouraging start, with personality and good ball possession, Cagliari gave way to the home side in the 21st minute, when Kovac gave Lecce the lead with a right-footed strike. The Salentini had space, while the Sardinians struggled to react with concrete shots on goal, and the second goal came in the 30th minute thanks to a dribbling move from Daka, who finished with his left foot. Shortly after, in the 39th minute, the third goal was scored by Delle Monache, who capitalized on a defensive error and finished with a right-footed shot. In the 43rd minute, things took a turn for the worse as Achour was sent off for protesting. Reduced to ten men, Cagliari faced an almost impossible second half. The Rossoblù controlled possession but, despite some good individual efforts, including attempts from Grandu and Vinciguerra, they couldn’t find the crucial goal to spark a comeback. Lecce managed the game, conceding very little, closing every gap, and securing the three points, overtaking Cagliari in the middle of the standings
