Primavera, Fabio Pisacane words
These are the words of Fabio Pisacane, coach of the Cagliari Primavera, after the 2-1 defeat at Monza in the midweek league match.
“Today I’m even more angry than after the last match,’ explains the coach. ‘It’s not about bad luck: after 21 games, we can’t rely on incidents. We’ve gifted too many points; when I say gifted, I’m not just referring to the goals conceded, but also to all the times we get into the final third and make the wrong decision. If we want to create a winning mentality, we need to wake up. We can’t focus on these things, and everyone, starting with me, needs to do more. We have to roll up our sleeves right away, and fortunately, starting Thursday, we’ll be on the pitch preparing for Sunday’s game against Torino, putting in that extra effort, starting with myself. Head down and keep pushing.”
