The Rossoblù in the national team

Eight Red and Blue players have been called up by their national teams to take part in World Cup qualifiers, European playoffs and friendly matches.

Eldor Shomurodov has been called up for the Uzbek national team and will play two matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers; Pantelis Hatzidiakos will play with Greece in the playoffs for the European Championships. Friendly matches await Gianluca Lapadula, Nahitan Nández, Antoine Makoumbou and Adam Obert with Peru, Uruguay, Republic of Congo and Slovakia respectively. Call-ups with the Italian U21 national team for Matteo Prati and Gaetano Oristanio, who are expected to play two decisive matches to qualify for the U21 European Championships.
