The Youth Sector’s Christmas Party
Cagliari’s Teatro Lirico was packed for the Cagliari Calcio Youth Sector Christmas party: approximately 500 participants, including athletes, coaches, management, and partners of the Rossoblu youth team. The Club gathered this afternoon, Monday, December 15th, in the prestigious setting in the heart of the city for the traditional exchange of greetings. It was an opportunity to reunite at the end of the year, halfway through the season.
From President Tommaso Giulini to the management, through all the youth teams and their coaching staffs, to first-team players Alessandro Deiola and Riyad Idrissi with coach Fabio Pisacane: many voices share what Cagliari represents and the core principles of the work done with young players. A journey that is evident in the club’s Serie A career and cascades across all the other youth teams, which embody the club’s Sardinian identity and the national and international reach brought by so many young players who quickly integrate into the Rossoblu environment.
The evening featured a private screening of the documentary “Su Coru,” produced by partner MAB & Co. with its video production team on the occasion of the club’s victory in the 2024/2025 Coppa Italia Primavera. The story of that adventure is a testament to everything the rossoblù jersey embodies: the passion of fans everywhere, the sacrifice, and the hard work on and off the pitch with the young players, thanks also to the daily training support of MAB & Co., which continues to enrich the careers of the rossoblù youth team players for years.
President Giulini’s words: “Best wishes to all the boys and girls and their families; to those who lead our youth sector with skill and passion: Oscar Erriu, Bernardo Mereu, Pierluigi Carta, Mattia Belfiori. To all the coaches, to our entire family. I still remember the happiness of playing football and a championship match: you had to pack your bag, back then we played on clay, how wonderful it was to share the locker room with your teammates. And then stepping out onto the pitch and having fun. These are thoughts that still inspire me and that should inspire all those who wear the Cagliari jersey today, carry it beyond Sardinia, and represent an entire nation. Ours is an unparalleled reality, only here is one team that plays at the highest level, this must explain what we represent and the responsibility we have. Always cherish the joy of playing football and doing it wearing the Cagliari jersey; this will always make a difference, regardless of what you do in life. Because happiness is contagious and will do good to everyone who They surround you. Alessandro and Riyad, as well as the coach himself, are a shining example of dedication and the desire to never give up and succeed. Their journey is worth more than a thousand words.”
