Youth sector, weekend results
A positive weekend for Cagliari’s youth sector, with an overall record of three important victories and one defeat after a hard-fought match. The Primavera team won 1-0 away against Empoli thanks to a goal from Vinciguerra, scored in the 6th minute of the second half. This goal allowed the Rossoblù to take the lead and maintain the result until the final whistle with a mature performance. Marco Mancosu’s Under-18 team won at home against Monza with goals from Saba and Saddi, securing three crucial points with a solid and determined performance. The Under-17 team triumphed 2-1 against Udinese at home, continuing their good form after the victory against Hellas Verona before the league break. Cagliari’s Under-15 team lost 1-0 to Hellas Verona in a balanced and unfortunate match. The decisive goal came in the first half, and despite their efforts, the Rossoblù were unable to equalize. The Under-16 team, on the other hand, will play on Tuesday, March 4th, for the postponed match against Como. This afternoon, the Under-14 national team faces Alcione in Alghero. The Women’s Under-15 team won in Pescara.
