Răzvan Marin gave an exclusive interview to Dazn: the return to Cagliari, the relationship with mister Nicola, the Romanian national team. Objectives and ambitions, these are the words of the rossoblù midfielder:
FOR THE TEAM
“I am very happy to be back here in Cagliari, I hope to help the team as much as possible with lots of goals, assists and high-level performances. I am someone who works hard, I always give my all, I do my best to help my teammates and reach the team goals together. I hope to go as far as possible”.
A STRONG GROUP
“I was very close to returning here last year too, when mister Ranieri was on the bench: I had spoken about it with my agent, for me returning to Sardinia would certainly not have been a problem. In fact, I would have been happy because unfortunately Cagliari and I had left each other after a sad period. This is a group that began to form two years ago, they were very important seasons for Cagliari, the team did very well even in the one just gone by. I found a different mentality, a nice environment, I also found those who had already been my teammates to be good. Zito, for example, has grown a lot: he was very young, he wasn’t yet mature, now he’s a player who can make the difference”.
EURO’S WITH THE NATIONAL TEAM
“I carry with me many emotions from the European Championship, playing with the national team means having your whole country behind you. We had a good tournament, we played very well and got good results. We have to continue on this path and prepare for the qualifications for the next World Cup”.
NICOLA AND THE TARGETS
“I have a good relationship with Mister Nicola, there is respect. I have known him since the six months at Empoli, he is someone who gives you a lot, but at the same time wants a lot from you. The fight for salvation? In the meantime we have to think about ourselves. If we do what we have to do, what the Mister asks of us, with performances like the one against Roma, it will certainly be a little easier for us. I have faith in myself and in the team to achieve salvation as soon as possible”.
