Cagliari Calcio announces the acquisition of the right to the sports performance of the player Marco Longoni, who arrives from Torino on loan until the end of the 2024-25 football season with the right of redemption.

Born in 2005, Longoni is an offensive midfielder capable of playing in different positions between the midfield and the trequarter, thanks to ductility and significant technical qualities, all combined with the tactical intelligence essential to make himself available to the team, enriching its offensive phase in particular. He grew up in the Spal youth academy, with whose jersey he made his debut in the Primavera 1 championship as early as the 2021-22 season, and landed in the 2023-24 season at Torino: 30 appearances, 3 goals and an assist the haul with the Granata Primavera.

The very strong connection with Sardinia dates back to when his uncle, Giuseppe Longoni, wore the Cagliari jersey as a star player, with 148 appearances and 7 total goals from 1965 to 1969, in the group that was preparing to win the indelible 1970 Scudetto.

Now for Marco Longoni a new adventure going to reinforce the Primavera rossoblù led by coach Fabio Pisacane. Welcome and have a great season, Marco!
