Pre-Season 2026/27: Squad Named for Pontedilegno-Tonale Training Camp

Head coach Fabio Pisacane has named a 30-man squad for the second phase of Cagliari’s pre-season training camp, which will take place in the Pontedilegno-Tonale mountain area. Following Wednesday morning’s training session (22 July) at the CRAI Sport Center, where the first part of the summer training camp has been held, the team will depart in the afternoon for Alta Val Camonica.

The team will stay at the Blu Hotel Acquaseria and will hold its first training session at the municipal stadium in Temù on the morning of Thursday 23 July. Later that afternoon, the Rossoblù will play their first official pre-season friendly against Sampdoria. The second friendly is scheduled for Tuesday 28 July against Modena. Both matches will kick off at 5:00 pm.

In addition to the friendlies, supporters will be able to watch the team’s twice-daily training sessions at 10:00 am and 5:30 pm, with the exception of Friday 24 and Wednesday 29 July, when the team will train only in the morning, and Saturday 25 July, which will be a rest day. On the evening of Saturday 25 July, the “Grande Festa Rossoblù” will take place. Starting at 9:00 pm in Piazza XXVII Settembre in Ponte di Legno, fans will have the opportunity to meet the team and their favourite players.

On the afternoon of Saturday 1 August, Cagliari will leave the Alps and travel to Germany. On Sunday 2 August (kick-off 2:00 pm), the Rossoblù will face Union Berlin in an international friendly at the An der Alten Försterei stadium. The final pre-season test before the Coppa Italia is scheduled for Saturday 8 August at the Unipol Domus, where Cagliari will take on Nice in the second edition of the “Gigi Riva Trophy” (tickets).
