Pintus joins Pianese on loan

Cagliari Calcio announces the temporary transfer of defender Nicola Pintus to Pianese until the end of the 2026/27 season.

A central defender born in 2005 and a native of Cagliari, Pintus came through the Club’s entire youth system, progressing from the Academy to the Youth Sector before reaching the First Team. On 18 May 2025, he fulfilled his dream by making his Serie A debut in the home victory against Venezia. He then signed a contract extension with the Club until 2029 before beginning the 2025/26 season under head coach Fabio Pisacane.

He later moved to Cosenza in Serie C. His career will now continue with Pianese, where he will have the opportunity to further his development and gain valuable experience.
