Raterink to ADO Den Haag on loan

Cagliari Calcio announces the transfer of the registration rights of the player Othniel Raterink, who moves to ADO Den Haag on loan until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Born in Winterswijk (the Netherlands) in 2006, Raterink arrived in Sardinia on February 1st, joining the rossoblù with a view to a progressive growth path, both individually and within the group. Raised in De Graafschap, he then moved on loan to Bayer Leverkusen in the 2024/25 season, where he played in the Under 19 ranks – also taking part in the Youth League – before returning to the Netherlands.

Hence his transfer to Cagliari, where he made his Serie A debut on March 20th at Unipol Domus against Napoli. Given his young age, he was also called up for the Under-20 team, contributing towards the season’s finale as the club secured relegation from the Primavera 1 championship.

Now, for him, a new stage of the journey, an opportunity to continue his training and acquire further continuity in professional football.
