Kingstone Mutandwa signs for Servette

Cagliari Calcio announces that Kingstone Mutandwa has joined Servette on loan until the end of the 2026/27 season, with an option to buy and an obligation to buy subject to the fulfilment of certain sporting conditions. At the same time, the player has renewed his contract with the Rossoblù club until 30 June 2030.

The forward, born in 2003 in Chibombo, Zambia, developed as a footballer with Atletico Lusaka. He made his Serie A debut for Cagliari on 3 March 2024 in the 0-1 away win against Empoli, before scoring his first goal for the Club on 23 May, at home against Fiorentina. Last season, he played in Austria for SV Ried, scoring 16 goals and providing 4 assists in 37 competitive appearances across the league, playoffs and domestic cup.

After returning from his loan spell, he took part in Cagliari’s pre-season campaign and featured in the Rossoblù’s winning away trip to Parma on the opening matchday of the 2026/27 Serie A season.

His development now continues in the top flight of Swiss football.
