Cagliari was defeated at the 'Benito Stirpe' in Frosinone. After a first-half lead thanks to Sulemana's goal, the Gialloblu turned it around thanks to goals from Mazzitelli and Soule. In the final minutes of the match, there was time for the Rossoblu to storm in, but they crashed against a providential Turati, then with Cagliari all forward in search of an equaliser, Kaio Jorge closed the match on 3-1 in the 96th minute.
