Rossoblu midfielder Michel Ndary Adopo spoke to the website “Calcio Casteddu” from the training camp in Ponte di Legno. Here’s an excerpt from his words:
WORK TO IMPROVE
I’m a modern midfielder who enjoys being useful in both phases of the game, helping defend and attack the opponent’s goal. My focus is on continually improving, to become more and more complete. I’ve always been used to playing with two in midfield, but for the past two years I’ve been part of a three-man midfield, and I like it. With Pisacane, I’m learning new things that are helping me grow both cognitively and in terms of my knowledge of the game. I hope and want to help the team as much as possible, becoming a leader like the likes of Deiola, Zappa, Mina, Caprile, and Esposito.
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE COACH
“The coach asks me, like all my teammates, to give my all at every opportunity. Because Cagliari’s future is our responsibility, and we must always be focused. All the coaches I’ve had in my career have left me with something. You have to learn every season. Fabio Pisacane, whom I met a year ago, is a great person. He enjoys his job, and even off the pitch, he shows a big heart.”
THE RED AND BLUE PEOPLE
“I want to help the team as best I can, working hard to become as complete as possible. We have a great fan base. From my first day in Cagliari, I’ve appreciated their presence, even in difficult times. Our supporters are always behind us, ready to help. Even here in Val Camonica, many have come to say hello. Our job is to do our best to thank them for their presence.”
