Cagliari defeats Atalanta
Cagliari’s great victory over Atalanta 2-1, retaking the Nerazzurri with goals from Augello at the end of the first half and Viola at the end of the match. A performance of enormous quantity and generosity by the red and blue, who were superior to the orbital battleship in terms of attitude and intensity. Three points that think in the salvation race, still very long and all to be decided.
CHOICES
Ranieri started with Shomurodov supported by Gaetano and Oristanio up front, and Deiola in the middle with Makoumbou and Sulemana on either side. Defence, in front of Scuffet, with Nandez, Mina, Dossena and Augello.

SECOND HALF
The second half was all red and blue, with Dossena’s header in the 61st minute going high. In the 63rd minute Gaetano’s shot deflected into a corner kick. Double yellow in the second half for Cagliari: Nandez and Deiola will miss the trip to Milan. There was a big push from Cagliari, Atalanta didn’t punish (Scuffet inoperative), chances were rare, then in the 85th minute Luvumbo from outside the box warmed Carnesecchi’s gloves, and in the 88th minute the Unipol Domus exploded: Zito again from the left, this time it was a cross for Viola who ‘touch’ just enough to send it into the net.
It ends like this, Cagliari has won.
