Grandu renews with Cagliari

Cagliari Calcio is delighted to announce the contract extension of Nicola Grandu, who has signed a new agreement until 30 June 2029, with an option in favour of the Club to extend it for a further season.

Born in 2006 and hailing from Martis, Grandu is a versatile wide player who combines adaptability, pace and commitment in both phases of the game. He has been with the Rossoblù since 2019 and has so far made 85 appearances for the Under-20 side, scoring 3 goals and providing 7 assists. He has become a key figure within the team and has worn the captain’s armband since last season.

His qualities are now also at the service of the First Team: Grandu has become a permanent member of the group under head coach Fabio Pisacane and his staff, working every day to further his development and continue improving.

A journey built entirely in Rossoblù, with a focus on potential and a strong sense of belonging. A bond with the shirt that represents his homeland, which Nicola renews with enthusiasm, determination and reliability – qualities that have accompanied him since his first day in Cagliari.
