Mateusz Wieteska joins Wieczysta Kraków

Cagliari Calcio announce the permanent transfer of Mateusz Wieteska to Wieczysta Kraków.

The Polish defender made his debut for the Rossoblù on 2 September 2023, away to Bologna. In his first season in Sardinia, he made 21 appearances and provided two assists. The following campaign, he featured in seven matches before moving on loan to PAOK Thessaloniki and subsequently to Kocaelispor.

Wieteska now returns to his homeland, joining Wieczysta Kraków in the Polish top flight. The Club would like to thank him for his commitment and contribution during his time in Sardinia and wishes him every success in the next chapter of his career.
