Michel Ndary Adopo and Florinel Coman are the standout players immediately after the 2-1 victory over Parma on the pitch at Unipol Domus. The Frenchman and the Romanian shared their thoughts with Dazn microphones in the interview following the final whistle.
Michel Ndary Adopo’s words: “We’ve worked a lot this week, just as we have over the past few months. Sometimes we haven’t gotten what we deserved, but today we’re taking home three important points, and we need to keep going like this. We believe a lot in the work we are doing, we know that we’ve consistently delivered good performances, so heads down and let’s focus on the next one to chase the final goal.”
Coman’s words: “I’m very happy to be here, to have made my debut with such an important goal for the team. It’s wonderful to give our fans something to be happy about. Scoring in one of the top 5 leagues in Europe is amazing, I’m happy, but I’m just starting and I have to keep working with the team to achieve safety. First and foremost, the important thing is to be in good physical condition. I hope to settle in well here, with the team and in Sardinia, to be truly useful to the cause.”
There’s also space for Razvan Marin, who in these early days of Coman’s time in Cagliari, has been acting as an interpreter both in public and privately. In the heat of the moment, he shares a remark about his friend and teammate. “I tried to give Florinel the right advice when there was a possibility for him to come to the Island. I’m happy he came on and scored such an important goal. I explained to him the significance of being in Cagliari and in Italian football, where he’ll need to prove that he can be consistent. He has important physical and technical qualities, and he can certainly give us a big hand in chasing our goal of safety together.”
