Yerry Mina, awarded MVP, and Elia Caprile were among the stars of the match at the Dall’Ara. After the match, the two Rossoblu players spoke to DAZN.
CAPRILE’S WORDS
We’re very close to our goal, but we still don’t have any mathematical certainty, so we can’t give up. We need to get as many points as possible in the next three games and finish as high as possible: Cagliari hasn’t earned at least forty points in many years, and now we have that chance. Yerry is one of the leaders of this team; he’s an example on the pitch for us younger players; he gives his all in every training session. He’s a Colombian international, and I hope he gets to the World Cup this summer. The Coach? He’s given us a lot of responsibility: from the most experienced to the youngest, we all felt compelled to repay his faith in us.
MINA’S WORDS
I’m proud to play for this club. We train well, and we’re a united group. And that’s the most important thing. We’ve had a great season so far. We know our goal and we want to achieve it. In June, I want to play in the World Cup with my Colombia team, and next year, I want to see Elia play for the Italian national team. He deserves it; he’s truly strong. The coach has always instilled great confidence in us. We’re a strong team. Now, let’s focus on the next match, in front of our home crowd.
