Primavera, Torino loss 2-1

A great victory for the Primavera rossoblù, who beat Torino 3-2: Kingstone’s double, scored in the first half, was reached by first Dell’Aquila and then Longoni. In the 85th minute Achour, on a penalty kick, gave the rossoblù the victory.

Without the injured Carboni, Pisacane opts for Balde and Sulev with Marcolini in the middle, while Simonetta supports Kingstone and Vinciguerra. Ahead of Wodzicki were Arba, Cogoni, Catena and Idrissi.
Ready, go and Kingstone had the big chance on an assist from Vinciguerra: a shot that Abati instinctively saved. In the 13th minute a chance for the lead with Marcolini, whose header hit the crossbar. The goal is in the air and Kingstone at the 20′ soars with elevation and timing on the run for the 1-0 on Simonetta’s corner. Cagliari led, but in the 26th minute a flash of Dell’Aquila, good in the in the low shot, made it 1-1. But 3′ passed and Kingstone scored: duel won and a right-footed shot that left no escape to the goalkeeper. The first half thus ended, after a final phase of struggle and agonism that produced neither chances nor goals.

Toro made a change at the end of the first half: Ciammaglichella and Njie came on for Franzoni and Perciun. In the 50th minute a granata chance with Savva who kicked high from inside the penalty area. At home Cagliari exited Arba due to a shoulder problem and Pintus entered in the 59th minute. The red and blue made themselves dangerous first with Marcolini and then with Vinciguerra: both occasions ended with the ball out. Toro found the equaliser in the 70th minute with Longoni who, from a left-footed free-kick from the edge of the box, put it behind Wodzicki. In the 75th minute Achour entered in place of Sulev: it was the Frenchman himself ten minutes later who earned a penalty kick and scored it, bringing the red and blues to 3-2. In the final minutes Pisacane’s boys fought on every ball and brought home the three points.
